The Harvest is Plenty, the Workers are Few

Today we began the work. One of our main goals was to raise up leaders and establish a network of Small Groups in diverse neighborhoods. The Quintanilla's, Margarita and Carlos worked dilligently on the material which was on the biblical definition of what it meant to be a Christian. The material was easy to understand, but because of time restraint, the training was intense. Today we began the study. Eleven people attended. Margarita Quintanilla is our adult group teacher. She is highly gifted and knowledgeable. Everyone was attentive and receptive. Today we also started our children's ministry. We stopped by a neighborhood Tai Kwon Do class to invite the children and were surprise to receive full cooperation from their coach-Julio, who was very intrigued by the work we were doing. I told the kids to go home, bathe, eat and meet us at 6:30. At a few minutes pass the time, a young man by the name of Lazaro Gabriel showed up. He was excited and smelling really good. He looked at us and said, "I did what you said, I'm sorry I'm late." This boy was the first to accept Christ as His Lord and Savior. PTL! We returned to our hotel exhausted and thankful. God was doing His thing.
