"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Profe Julio brought along his son and his students. He was impressed by the way the children behaved.

Oh, what a wonderful day!
John and Frances lead us in song as we rejoiced in the Lord. We begin each day praying, reading and singing together and we end each day the same way. How sweet it is to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
This morning the team had a few hours of down time. Some of us went to the pool, others rested, while others spent alone time with God. It was a great morning. We were able to prepare for the work ahead.
We went to Tia's house for lunch. Afterwards, we walked around town meeting people, sharing God's love, passing out coins (with John 3:16 on one side and the sinner's prayer on the other) envelopes (with $ and tracts, donated by a sister) toys, etc. We had a fabulous time.
When we got back to the house, we sat on the porch to rock and talk. A young woman from the neighborhood came by and joined Elsa, Margarita and Betty. They were talking as if they were old friends. Shortly thereafter, I was called out to the porch to pray for this young woman. She wept as she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She then shared that she was barren and her heart's desire was to have a baby. Margarita opened her bible to 1 Samuel and began to read the story of Hannah, she then handed the Bible and had this young woman read God's promise for herself. You could feel the power of the Holy Spirit. It was fabulous!
Soon it was time for Bible Study and Children's Ministry. We were excited to see that the word had gotten around, more than thirty children showed up. They were ready to sing the songs they had learned. We prayed, they sang and then John read them a Bible story. The children were mesmerized. They listened intently, soaking up every word. Even their Tai Kwon Do teacher was impressed. He couldn't believe his eyes. He even asked us what kind of power we had. We explained he was witnessing the power of God.
We got back to the hotel filled with the joy of the Lord. During our devotion time Frances and Reinier did a skit on the Armor of God. We laughed until we couldn't laugh anymore. It was a special time that will forever be etched in our mind.
